Myra Albert WIGGINS (1869-1956)
Heralding from the Pacific Northwest, Myra Albert Wiggins (1869-1956) was one of the leading representatives of pictorialism at the turn of the 20th century. Known for her soft-focus, atmospheric images that emphasized mood and everyday domestic life, her work gained international recognition in the early 1900s. She was one of the few American women photographers of her time to exhibit widely in Europe.
